If you want to try Linux.
Do so know without changing anything on your PC.
Run live CD instead.
openSUSE provides 2 options.
Live GNOME.
Live KDE.
Personally I prefer KDE over GNOME.
If you like/prefer this type of OS.
Download & install the DVD version.
