Creating a backup SD Card for booting the kernel

Hi - I recently purchased an ODROID-7 device. Since I am planning to modify the kernel I am trying to take a backup of the original SD Card that comes with the device. I followed the steps given in this thread on creating a bootable SD Card with larger size but am not able to get this working. Specifically I am doing the following:
1. Downloaded the recovery image, uncompressed it
2. Executed ODROID_7_TF_Burner_25b.exe on
