Building Android for Odroid-7

I needed to modify some files in the Android files and have the following questions:
1. The build takes about 2 hours everytime i modify the code and build.I am running the build on Ubuntu on VMWare. I understand that this is normal for a build clean. But this happens everytime even when I change only one file. I looked in to odroid7_build.sh and changed CLEAN_BUILD from true to false but even then it looks like the script is building almost everyt
