Work-arounds for issues with stock Rooted Nook Color ROM

I thought I would include a list of tips for the Nook.

I had experienced several of these during the rooting of my nook so I thought it woud be worth while to share some of these that I found by Will Shanklin


1. How do I keep wifi from turning off when the screen goes to sleep?

- download Spare Parts from the market and set wifi sleep policy to never.

Great news! I just read over at "Android Community" that someone has managed to get Honeycomb (Android 3.0), on the NOOKColor! There are pictures too. I wonder how long it will take for B & N to send out another update?
I spend 4 hours flashing every rom for my epad. All these roms and either the screen wouldn't work or the wifi was unable to start. I am at a loss anyone have any suggestions?
