panimage rooted tablet battery drains fast

i rooted my tablet over a month ago and when i unplug it battery drains fast in about 20 seconds it gose from 100 percent to 50 then to 23 percent in about 20 seconds i check whats using battery it says

display 70%
wifi 14%
device idle 5%
android system 3%
are there any apps or tips that might help save battery. i have brightness turned down
