Brilliant Debut Albums and then nothing...
I was listening to Guns N' Roses (I've chilled out again now, though) and I got to thinking which other bands had made brilliant debuts and then either broken up, or simply never approached those initial highs ever again? Two immediately sprang to mind -

I do this all the time...the radio plays a tune I've not thought to listen to in a long time, and I remember how much it kicks ass. Usually it's by a band or artist who I don't listen to very often - not a guilty pleasure, just a song that went completely
